DATA ENTRY CLERK

Position Overview: The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for inputting data, filing reports and documents and performing basic clerical office duties. The successful candidate has strong Excel skills and has great organizational skills.

Responsibilities for the Data Entry Clerk:

  • Inputting daily data into the system
  • Preparing and sourcing data
  • Verifying and entering customer account data
  • Updating documents
  • Filing and faxing
  • Uploading paperwork
  • Maintaining customer confidence by keeping information confidential
  • Performing other office duties as assigned

Qualification for the Data Entry Clerk:

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite ( Specifically Excel)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • Associate s degree

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
