The Optical Networking Software team is expanding and looking for highly motivated professionals to join us to further enhance its operational automation in a very fast growing and competitive environment.   Job Position Summary Description: As an integral part of the Optical Network Software Product Line Management team, this PLM will be responsible for defining the capabilities, features and functions of next generation, revenue generating software product offerings to support the 1830 optical  network element family. Key Responsibilities / Functions Partner with customers, your product manager peers, engineering, technical marketing, and business development to identify, define and execute new programs Be disruptive in your thinking, and bring new ideas into the product team Manage the product/ feature set lifecycle of the product from launch to end of life activities Be a key product line advocate to your product management peers & business development / sales teams Drive product requirements into the Optical Networking product management team and ensure the successful delivery and implementation of product roadmaps of the product groups, either through internal or external R&D Translate customer needs into clearly defined solution and product requirements taking into account available solution sets and competitive environments Build the business case for new business development and obtain executive buy in for new initiatives. Develop and maintain the key product metrics in conjunction with the Optical Networking product management team. Develop and implement the product structure and pricing strategy for each product in conjunction with the Optical Networking product management team Work closely with the operations group on the creation and maintenance of long range sell in and sell through forecasts Perform market analysis, cost analysis, and pricing analysis Build trusted relationships and be able to influence key executives. Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge) 7+ years of experience with telecom products.  Must have minimum 5 years of product management experience, or previous experience in strategy development, business development, partnership development, and/or solutions marketing. Product management / business acumen - understand Go To Market requirements for networking solutions Degree in engineering or commercial engineering; MBA or advanced degree is an asset. Must be comfortable working collaboratively across many groups within the organization including sales, business development, product management, marketing, services & support, manufacturing/operations, program management, legal, and finance High energy and ability to influence/lead others; willingness to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Excellent technical skills, with solid technical and operational understanding of optical networking solutions across multiple market segments Excellent understanding of the industry landscape (competitors and partners) Ability to shift from high-level thinking to realistic and pragmatic execution is essential Willingness and ability to work with teams, ability to build relationships using an open and respectful communication and collaboration style Excellent verbal communications skills Logical and concise writing skills Desired Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge) 5+ years of increasing responsibility for positioning and delivering networking solutions Demonstrable experience in identifying changing business models, and ability to associate these to changing solution/product and architecture requirements Strong internal interaction skills to work with external and internal customers in driving their architecture needs and will routinely deliver presentations to stakeholders Successful track record in large-scale TELECOM technology change and adoption is highly desirable, especially in the optical networking application space We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.   1700000AZ2

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
