Expert Network Engineer

With the largest community of clients in healthcare, Allscripts is able to deliver an integrated platform of clinical, financial, connectivity and information solutions to facilitate enhanced collaboration and exchange of critical patient information.   The Expert Network Engineer position is vital to ensuring the health and security of the network and related support systems for our client, a 24x7, multisite healthcare system based in New Providence, NJ. This role will be responsible for design & architecture, routing & switching, firewalls, wireless networking, operational management and project management on an expert level. As such, candidates must be able to thrive in situations that require the highest level of customer service, attention to detail, proactive problem solving and time management. Responsibilities   Architects (design and deploy) functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices Monitor network performance and integrity Resolve support issues that have been escalated inclusive of cloud and local infrastructure technologies Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness Manage team members on technical issues and daily operations Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery) Communicate with users when needed Maintain complete technical documentation Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability Possess Expert level expertise in the assigned technology domain. Design, manage, maintain, monitor and support the infrastructure environment in assigned technology domain. Install, configure and support hardware and software required to operate assigned technology. Provide ongoing maintenance including updates, patches and anti-virus updates. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in assigned technology including hardware, software, operating system and application-related issues. Conduct performance monitoring, system health checks, trending analysis and capacity planning. Provide 3rd level operational support for issues escalated from Service Desk. Develop and maintain documentation related to technology installation, administration and maintenance.   These are consistent for all our staff: Assist in supporting activations and rollouts. Adherence to the defined standards. Take initiative and drives to bring to logical conclusion; proactive approach. Provide accurate and timely information and escalates when there are issues. Actively participate in meetings and make valuable contribution.   LI-KB1 Qualifications Academic and Professional Qualifications: BS degree in Information Science/Computer Science/Software Engineering/Business preferred Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP)   Experience: 7+ years expert level experience providing network engineering in assigned product, recognized as an expert in this subject area within the organization preferred Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Senior Network Administrator Solid background in network administration and architecture In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF) Familiarity with access control models and network security Knowledge of coding languages for scripting to enable networking automation Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools, Wireshark) Experience with network firewalls, such as, Palo Alto Solid understanding of network operating systems (e.g. Cisco IOS) Experience with SD-WAN architecture and operations (specifically, Verizon) Working knowledge of the OSI 7-layer networking model Sharp troubleshooting skills Project Management experience preferred Excellent client facing skills with the ability to thrive in a highly critical, fast paced environment.   Travel Requirements:  May require local travel  May require other travel for business needs   Working Arrangements: May require after hours on call support Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards 2018-18772

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
