MS Expert SCCM Desktop Engineer

The primary purpose of the Expert SCCM Desktop Engineer role is to manage desktop computing and act as a bridge between the SysAd team and Desktop team with image versioning, applications & ancillary testing, package deployment and applications packaging for our client users, Summit Medical Group in New Providence, NJ. Responsibilities Manages and resolved desktop images, applications and deployment using SCCM/MDT and other management tools. Identifies and resolves desktop/laptop hardware problems. Initial networktroubleshooting and determination of appropriate escalation path. Resolve and work proactively on virus issues and initiatives. Assists in new system deployments/loading appropriate software as needed. Maintain Web support hints, tips, and FAQs. Mobility kit physical upgrades. Responsible for incidents escalated from first line of support. Write support documentation for customer and/or departmental use. Provides suggestions and information on projects that should be undertaken by the department. May manage projects as assigned by the Manager. Assists in web page development for the Intranet and for our third party WebFirst application. Qualifications Academic and Professional Qualifications:  BA or BS degreepreferred or other relevant combination of training and experience. Experience:  6+ years experience in an desktop support environment preferred. Health IT background preferred. SCCM, MDT, Citrix and Sharepoint preferred. Experience in a highly regulated and enterprise environment preferred. Excellent customer service skills, self directed and action oriented skills required. Travel Requirements:  May require local travel  May require other travel for business needs Working Arrangements: May be required to work off hour shifts or be assigned to an on-call rotation. 24/7 Support Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards 2018-18474
