Practice Lead, IT Operations

Job Description Job Summary TRC is searching for a Technical Leader who has extensive hands-on experience in an enterprise environment supporting Infrastructure, IT systems and network administration. This person must have experience maturing operational processes, is capable of inspiring and providing technical mentorship to their team members and can establish themselves as a trusted advisor. AWS/Azure cloud is a plus but not required. This position can sit in either New Providence, NJ or Windsor, CT. Responsibilities: Lead a team consisting of system administrators and network engineers. Acts as a technical escalation for internal IT Teams. Manage day to day operations of all IT Operations, Network and Telecom functions. Performs effective communications during outages and implementations. Manages internal projects -- providing oversight, documentation and communication. Analyzes business needs and recommends infrastructure solutions. Develops processes, procedures, technical designs, and system documentation. Coordinates and/or works with outside vendors to resolve problems and issues. Assists in planning and deployment of disaster recovery procedures. Works with IT staff to continually expand and improve departmental skillsets. Supervisory Duties: Develops a team of professionals capable of providing support for day to day operations. Administers staff performance appraisals, promotions, vacation requests, time-tracking approvals and goal development. Empowers team to lead and/or carry out initiatives. Provides central management of any incidents, ensuring resolution and working across technology to establish the root cause and provide strategic input to ensure any underlying issues are fully remediated. Lead team to provide business analysis and consultation on overall business strategy as it relates to operations and technology. Refresh/replace solution strategies. Requirements Skills and Competencies: Demonstrated knowledge with Windows Servers, Server Operations and Server applications Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco network devices, firewalls and routers, etc. Demonstrated competencies with Networked Attached Storage Commitment to continual development of technical skillsets and knowledge sharing Must possess a strong customer service focus Ability to lead initiatives and take ownership Experience supporting Telecommunications equipment, placing orders with vendors is a plus Project Managementexperience is a plus Strong communication (verbal and written), problem solving skills and ability to multitask. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
