Position Overview: The role of the Buyer will be to support the Purchasing department with inventory management of assigned products and supplies by confirming demand needed.

Responsibilities of the Buyer:

  • Create a well-organized and precise system for monitoring all open purchase orders
  • Request RFPs and RFQs from vendors
  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers
  • Review incoming procurement requests
  • Analyze all vendor pricing for best offer

Qualifications for the Buyer:

  • 3-5 years of purchasing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel Advanced
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of products in area of specialization

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor s in Finance or Supply Chain

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
