HR Spec 1


  • Draft offer letters, prepare new hire packets and orientation materials. Ensure new hires and hiring managers have all necessary on boarding information for their first day.
  • Support HR Team by providing information to employees and hiring managers on staffing processes and procedures.
  • Maintain third-party recruiting agency agreements and process recruiting invoices.
  • Managing the temporary employee request and placement process for Murray Hill site; including the requisition, screening, on-boarding, and tracking of temporary employees.
  • Provide employment verification information for current and former employees
  • Process and manage departmental invoices including monthly expense report
  • Personnel file management for active and terminated employees
  • Manage employee relocation files and reimbursement agreement tracking
  • Create and maintain recruiting collateral; including new hire folders and welcome gifts
  • Provide general copying, filing, correspondence, distribution, mail, FedEx and phone coverage as requested
  • Meeting, conference call and webinar scheduling as required
  • Maintain office supply needs for department


Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills



  • Minimum of a High School or GED diploma
  • College Degree strongly preferred



  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in an administrative capacity within a general office environment
  • Experience in Human Resources functions strongly preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
