SCOPE AND
Responsibilities: This position has primary responsibility for customizing of the logistics module in SAP. In addition, the position will be responsible for planning, managing and executing projects of various levels of scope, complexity, and duration and project team size. Primary focus will be SAP-based project and initiatives for Chemetall. . o Configure /Customize/Troubleshoot logistics module (eg. PP-PI and QM) in SAP. EHS and Open text are big plus. o Knowledge of PLC a must. o Integration with MES, Siemens, Allen-Bradley preferred o Plan, execute and overall deployment for assigned module of SAP and business initiatives. o Participate in global project initiatives related to SAP module expertise. o Responsible for the quality delivery of project outcomes & deliverables, on-time & on-budget, while operating under Chemetall's overall business and technology standards, controls and policies / procedures framework. o Foster strong relationships between IT and business project team members, ensuring high satisfaction by key stakeholders, of assigned project deployments and overall project satisfaction. o Ensure proactive communications on project status and issues, across all the appropriate levels of the organization - both IT and business.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: o Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on SAP configuration analyst experience in one or more SAP module (e.g., PP-PI, QM, EHS etc.) o Some years of progressive experience in leading the deployment of SAP projects. o Experience working in a process manufacturing environment. o Ability to work in a high pressure environment, to meet deadlines. o Experience in global SAP enterprise-wide project initiatives o Experience in blueprint design, data conversion and migration, and system integration testing across modules. o Deep level of proficiency and understanding of information technology and the linkage between business processes, people and systems. o Solid business acumen across multiple functional areas / processes including coverage by SAP. o Experience in industries that included manufacturing and/or distribution functions. o Proven ability to effectively communicate ideas and solutions across all levels of the organization, including operational employees, senior management, technical personnel and consultants (written & verbal). o Strong facilitation skills to efficiently and effectively drive issue resolution and consensus across all levels of the organization, as well as multiple business units / functional area stakeholders. o Well versed in project management tools and methodology.
