Summary
The Senior Scientist, Innovation has the responsibility to ensure Chemetall has on-going innovative concepts to keep our technologies ahead of the technology curve addressing market trends and competitive in the future. This should be accomplished through Open Innovation/Scouting of new concepts and ideas to meet our customers' needs, Research of new technologies and Technical Service/Support of new technologies going through validation. Senior Scientist , Innovation is also responsible for the transfer of validated technologies to Technology Management for commercialization.
Particular research emphasis should be on the Surface Treatment Industry including Coil, however, activities should also include other Chemetall technologies, applications and markets.
Responsibilities:
Technology Scouting/Open Inovation Research and Development Technical Support-Surface Analysis and New Technique Reporting and Communication- Internally and Globally Develop relationships with Universities
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
PHD in Chemistry or related Sciences
5 Years Industrial Formulating Experience
Surface Treatment Background
Excellent communications skills
Able to work independently and as a teamEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
