DIRECTV is seeking a Director of Systems and Services for our Ad Sales Organization to supervise a team of consultants who are engaged in the development and implementation of technical enterprise-wide solutions using the company or a third-party product for a client.
In this role, the Director manages the solutions consultant's function across multiple company ad tech offerings implementing consulting and tech issue resolution strategies with oversight from the Sr.
Director.
Here's what you'll do:
Oversee the completion of customer solutions and strategies based on the analysis of the customer business goals, objectives, needs, and general business environment.
Provide both management and technical leadership.
Use project management tools to estimate projects and monitor the status.
Review completed proposals for technical integrity, risk assessment, and strategic direction prior to presentation to customer.
Manage the strategic development and design of principles, processes, models, and standards that address business requirements and goals.
Holistically understand business problems and requirements of DIRECTV's digital business; Develop, implement, and manage platform/inventory integrations for digital ad products.
Design data driven, digital advertising solutions based on client goals, priorities, and needs within existing systems infrastructure.
Serve as subject matter expert in programmatic ad tech - header bidding, SSPs, DSPs, DMPs, ad exchanges, ad networks, agency trading desks, and viewability/fraud providers.
Maintain and support complex digital inventory architecture across various product offerings.
Drive advertising related product evolution and improvement to support and enhance the Ad Sales business.
Performance is typically measured through client satisfaction with solutions.
What you'll need to be successful:
Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, preferred.

years of experience working in AdTech or related businesses.
Deep understanding of the programmatic ad tech ecosystem, PreBid, and Open RTB.
Extensive experience with programmatic & digital ad serving systems, such as FreeWheel, Magnite, and / or equivalent SSPs.
Proven track record of troubleshooting and supporting technical systems.
Experience leading small teams a plus!This role requires 2 days/week in the New York City office.

$140,875 - $211,255Please note that the salary ranges reflect base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits - when you consider all of these together, it represents a pretty impressive total compensation package.
